Altruism in Babies

New study shows altruism as early as 18 months. I actually think it begins a little sooner; C&D offer their food to me a lot (even if they've already chewed on it). At first they offered it when they were full or didn't really want any more, but often they'll eat something, like it, offer me a bite, then take a bite for themselves. They will even give each other toys, but that happens less often. Sweet babies!

I accidentally fell asleep and didn't get to check my e-mail earlier tonight. I did that (nothing good, though) so now I can go back to bed.
